THE BROADWAY MUSICAL

“Seize the Day” with Broadway’s smash hit musical at Tuacahn!

Set in New York City at the turn of the 20th century and inspired by a true story, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged “newsies.” When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what’s right!

JAMES EVERTS (Ensemble, u/s Manager, 2nd u/s Walter) is so excited to finish out the year at Tuacahn! He is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah and is a graduate from AMDA College of the Performing Arts. Recent Credits Include: Newsies/The Little Mermaid/Wizard of Oz (Tuacahn ‘25), Jersey Boys (B&B), Anastasia/Frozen/Jersey Boys (Tuacahn ’24), Sweeney Todd (ANW), and Spring Awakening (EWP).  James wants to thank his family, DDO, and his partner Arianna for their endless support. Is graciously excited to play Medda in Newsies, Ursula Understudy in The Little Mermaid and Ensemble in The Wizard of Oz. Her roles include Aida in Aida, Ms. Corry in Mary Poppins and Susan in Title of Show. Ameena studied Musical Theater at Florida School the Arts and Gainesville Theatre Alliance. When she’s not transforming on stage, Ameena enjoys karaoke and playing with her dog, Ebony. She wants to thank Tuacahn, her mom Donnet and her family for their continuous support!

GREYSON NIELSON

(N: Les) is beyond excited to be back in the canyon this summer at Tuacahn! He gained a passion for the stage in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at Tuacahn in 2022, and has loved it ever since. Some of his recent credits include: A Christmas Carol, Tuacahn (Tiny Tim), Hadestown, Encore (Ensemble), Tarzan, Tuacahn (Young Tarzan), Charlie, Tuacahn (Mike Teavee U/S, Ensemble), Joseph, Hurricane Theatrical (Benjamin), Christmas Carol A New Musical, Encore (Tiny Tim/Narrator’s Asst.). Greyson has also had the opportunity recently to be in several commercials and some new films. When he isn’t on stage he loves playing football and baseball with friends, baking, working on scooter tricks, running, and doing anything active! HUDSON SULLIVAN

Is thrilled to be performing in the canyon again! Tuacahn credits include: Scrooge at 12 in A Christmas Carol, Grover Dill in A Christmas Story, Ensemble in Joseph and Elf The Musical. Hudson has understudied and performed the following roles also at Tuacahn: Young Tarzan in Tarzan, Mike Teavee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Michael Banks in Mary Poppins, and Chip in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. Hudson will be a 7th grader this fall at Vista School where he has been seen in many shows: Shrek in Shrek, Zazu in The Lion King, Cogsworth in Beauty and the Beast and is a member of the Principal 2 Dance Company. Other credits include: Winthrop in The Music Man (Encore), Best of Broadway Christmas (SGMT). Hudson recently won 1st place Vocal Solo at Musical Theatre Competitions of America. Thank you to all of his teachers at Utah COPA, Vista and Encore, especially Mimi and Rebekah, as well as Scott, Mara and Sarah for this opportunity.  He would also like to thank his supportive family, especially Mom for writing this. RANDAL KEITH

Elf: Greenway, u/s Walter

RANDAL KEITH (Greenway, u/s Walter) Randal Keith, a local favorite in Saint George, has dazzled audiences with his remarkable 22 shows since 2014. From iconic roles in The Little Mermaid and The Hunchback of Notre Dame to recent performances in A Christmas Carol, Frozen, and Jersey Boys, Keith has consistently captivated audiences. His portrayal of Jean Valjean in Les Miserables on Broadway and the National tour solidified his reputation. With over 3000 performances, his rendition left an indelible mark. He also played the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera with the renowned 1st national touring company. After 16 years in Las Vegas, Keith has made Saint George his new home, showcasing his talents in Vegas productions like Spamalot, Phantom-The Las Vegas Spectacular, Steve Wynn’s Showstoppers, and BAZ Star-crossed Love. Randal Keith’s journey to Saint George exemplifies his dedication and passion for performing. Randal extends his heartfelt gratitude to Tuacahn for providing an opportunity to create unforgettable memories and feel like a cherished member of the community. He is grateful to call Tuacahn home.

ANDY RICHARDSON

Is so excited to be making his Tuacahn debut! Broadway: Newsies (OBC Romeo, closing Crutchie), Gypsy (w/ Patti LuPone), Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas! the Musical.
