SINGERS, & DANCERS
(AEA & Non AEA)
Bring headshot and resume. Prepare 16 bars from one classic
musical & have a second song ready if requested. Accompanist
provided. No tapes or cds please. Potential ensemble will be invited to attend a dance call except: no dance call in NYC; open Chorus Call in L.A..
Actors invited to call backs will be provided with sides
to read. Performers of all ethnic backgrounds are encouraged
to attend. Children in St. George may be auditioned in groups.
APPOINTMENTS IN NEW YORK
Accepting submissions for the following roles ONLY: Jean Valjean and Javert in Les Miserables. Please note these shows run in repertory, June – October. Actors will be cast in all three shows (Les Miserables, The Sound of Music, Big River). Prepare a brief musical theatre song, preferably from the show. Have a second, contrasting selection ready in case it is requested. Accompanist provided. Bring picture and resume, stapled together. If you do not receive an appointment for either of these roles, you may still attend the EPA.
CHILDREN/YOUTH
We are looking for children/youth of the following ages to play the children in The Sound of Music. Liesl (16), Fridric (14), Louisa (13), Kurt (11), Brigitta (9), Marta (7), Gretl (5-6). The child actors in Les Miserables will likely be between 8 - 12.

NOTE
Offering six month contracts: April 28 - October 18, 2008,
though some shorter contracts may be available. First rehearsal
April 18 in Ivins, Utah (120 Miles Northeast of Las Vegas).
The role of Monsieur Thenardier in Les Miserables has been cast,
but we seek understudies for all roles. Non AEA ensemble
cast will also perform in The Plaza Show, Tuacahn's nightly
pre-show entertainment. EMC participant. During our season,
cast members will receive a private audition with a major
entertainment company. Shared housing is available for a small
fee. Local residents of the greater St. George area are
not eligible for company housing.
